Adventure Medical Kits Expands Dog First Aid Products for 2016
Workin’ Dog Kit Offers Veterinarian-Grade Contents

Littleton, N.H. (November 2015) - Leveraging over 25 years of expertise in wilderness first aid for humans and pets, Adventure® Medical Kits continues to expand its medical expertise in their Adventure Dog Series by adding the Workin’ Dog Kit. Designed for enthusiasts who rely on their canine partners on the ranch or out in the field, the kit includes a range of medical supplies designed specifically for their loyal canine companions. The kit will be available in early April 2016 and on display at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market booth #5019 in January.

“More outdoor enthusiasts hunt, fish, hike and work with their dogs than ever before,” said Frank Meyer, Chief Marketing Officer at Tender Corporation. “ Whatever the activity, our furry companions often get into as much, or more trouble than we do on the trail. This is a natural line extension to help our loyal brand users take care of their pets.”

The Workin’ Dog Kit (MSRP: $110) is a one-stop-shop for keeping your companion safe. The kit contains the information and veterinarian-grade supplies you need to deal with serious emergencies. True to the Adventure Medical Kits’ philosophy, this kit includes a field manual for pet first aid. This provides the user with comprehensive medical information on how to use the kit’s components to treat an injured dog when far from veterinary care. Key components of the kit include: a Survive Outdoors Longer Emergency Blanket to treat shock and hypothermia, an LED headlamp for hands-free illumination, an emergency leash, an emergency cold pack for sprains, strains and heat exposure and a self-adhering elastic bandage that won’t stick to a dog’s hair. For serious cuts and wounds, the kit comes with hydrogen peroxide and 10 CC irrigation syringe for effectively cleaning wounds, as well as QuikClot® Gauze and Hemostat forceps to stop bleeding fast. A disposable skin stapler closes serious wounds out in the field when you are far from medical care.

Adventure Medical Kits’ Adventure Dog Series includes a range of medical kits and Adventure Dog Wipes designed specifically for their canine companions. Carryover kits include; The Me & My Dog™ Kit (MSRP: $50) provides both Human & Canine medical solutions in one kit. The Trail Dog™ Kit (MSRP: $25) is a dog-specific kit that caters to the types of injuries dogs encounter most on the trail – primarily to their paws. The most compact of the kits, the Adventure Dog Heeler™ Kit (MSRP: $10) is a lightweight and waterproof kit that makes it easy to throw in a pack or human first aid kit
